Nearly every child wants to be a part of what you’re doing from cleaning to opening the door as a way of feeling independent and more grown up. The best way to get your kids to eat clean is to help you prepare the food.
Purchase a set of safety knives and let them chop the soft, easy veg for you or prepare basics such as washing the vegetables. As they touch the food and organize it, they’ll start to work up and appetite which results in them eating it.

There are countless ways to make food feel more inviting and being creative is a walk in the park. You can make different shapes with the vegetables or simply arrange the food into a face, so children are learning at the same time too.

3. Teach them as they go
Children love getting involved as mentioned above but they also like to learn, and there is a lot that can be said about food. Spend just five minutes mentioning a few facts about the food your prepping and ask them questions after.
You can get your children to guess what vitamins are in certain vegetables and encourage eating together, so they learn to understand when they are hungry.

Everyone loves desserts so don’t remove them from your children’s diet but rather make them healthier options. If your kids are already used to eating junk food, then healthy options are a great way to get them to break the cycle.

As kids grow up, they’re going to get used to making decisions on their own and also learn the power of no. A great way to do this is to let them decided what they want to eat during the week.
Write down a few meals for each day and then get them to pick what they prefer. This encourages them to work with you rather against you.
Getting your children to eat what you put in front of them doesn’t have to be difficult, it’s all about them getting to work with you, and everything else will fall in place.
