MY EXPERIENCE w/ CETAPHIL GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER

This product is a miracle worker and a blessing for those with dry or sensitive skin. It is thick and creamy, almost like a lotion. It smells medicinal to me but not very pleasing to my senses of smell. It’s packaging clearly states that it is fragrance-free. This cleanser has been used in two different ways.

This is how I used CETAPHIL GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER WITHOUT WATER.

I took a large amount of the cream in my hand and immediately applied it to my skin. After massaging it gently, it started to look like a moisturizer. Facial wipes such as Himalaya or kara facial tissues can also be used.

USE WATER

I also used it in the morning after I woke up. I took a large amount, massaged it all over my face for a few minutes, then rinsed it with water.

Cetaphil claims that this cleanser will remove dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin. Although my skin didn’t look oily after using this cleanser to wash it, it did remove excess oil, impurities, and other impurities. My skin felt soft and clean, but it didn’t feel stripped. It didn’t feel tight or stretched. It was both a moisturizer and a cleanser for me. You don’t need to moisturize because you can spray some toner or facial mist on your skin and apply sunscreen. I was also using this as a part of my cleansing-toning-moisturizing routine religiously. This was also a great product to use at night.

It can’t remove heavy makeup, but it can remove soft makeup like compact powder or bb cream. If you’re wearing a high-coverage foundation with primer, concealer, and translucent/lose powders, you will need to apply makeup remover and then use Cetaphil cleanser.
