People with different skin types and conditions should choose their face wash accordingly. Today I’m going to review a cleanser from a brand called “Dermavive.” Dermavive Hydrating Cleanser is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH HYDRA DERMAVIVE CLEANSER

HOW IS THE PACKAGING?
The packaging is, therefore, quite basic. It comes in a medium, white, and green but somewhat wide tube package with a flip-top green cap.

WHAT IS THE CONSISTENCY, TEXTURE, AND COLOR OF HYDRA DERMAVIVE CLEANSER?
It is a gel cleanser with a liquid consistency. It has a cloudy white color.

WHAT IS HYDRA DERMAVIVE CLEANSER?
Here is the main part of the review?

As mentioned, it contains colloidal oatmeal (finely powdered oatmeal in any liquid). And oatmeal has been used for many medical conditions since ancient times. Helps soothe and hydrate the skin. In addition to that, it also contains lactic acid, which is an AHA. Lactic acid reduces acne and prevents breakouts. So these two ingredients impressed me. I have an oily T-zone, and this Dermavive moisturizing cleanser cleaned excess oil from my face without drying or stretching the skin. I skipped my moisturizer and went straight to sunscreen because this cleanser is moisturizing enough for me. It does not foam thanks to its soap-free and pH-balanced formula, but it does its job well.

This cleanser makes my skin super smooth like any gel-based cleanser while moisturizing my skin. I liked how soft it was on my skin and how it felt. The only thing I didn’t like was its smell. It has a very strong medicinal smell that I couldn’t stand when I first used it. But the smell goes away after washing, and as long as I use it, it doesn’t bother me much.

This cleanser didn’t cause any breakouts, and I feel it helped my skin calm down and prevent breakouts (very good). The oats are so finely ground you can hardly tell. So I try to shake it well so I can see them. Sometimes I feel like it has this very little bland powdered oatmeal, and most of the time, I don’t even feel it.

People with sensitive skin who can’t use physical scrubs would like this, as the powdered oatmeal and lactic acid do the job to some degree. I love this Dermavive Hydra cleanser because it makes my skin soft, supple, and hydrated and removes excess oil without stripping my natural oils.
