Difficulty sleeping is fairly common among the general population due to stress that comes from work, family, or even just simple daily interactions. Sleep is even more difficult to achieve if you are a person who is suffering from a disorder that causes you to experience high levels of constant pain. Most people with this kind of pain will begin to rely on powerful pain medications that can cause both physical and mental addictions. Still, there are those who wish to avoid these kinds of complications down the road and would rather investigate more natural methods.

While it’s completely unhelpful to tell a person who is suffering from serious pain issues that the pain is in their mind, turns out that discovered that people who are heavily focused on their pain are more likely to have sleep issues.  Many studies have found major success for chronic pain sufferers through cognitive behavioral therapy. This gives a person who is suffering with pain a few tools that they can use to maintain a more positive outlook on their situation. Make time in your day to do things that help you to relax such as listening to music, taking a warm bath, working out, or anything else that helps you to relieve the stress of your day. The more you do this, the easier it will be for you to get true rest.

• Popping or scratching acne can leave scars

Natural home remedy using aloe vera:

1. Take an aloe vera leaf
2. Peel the outer green covering
3. Extract the gel from inside
4. Apply the gel 2 times a day
5. Leave it for 30 minutes
6. Wash it off

Natural home remedy using honey, lemon juice, almond oil and milk:

1. Take 1 tbsp of honey
2. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice
3. Add 1 tbsp almond oil
4. Add 2 tbsp of milk
5. Mix Well
6. Apply on the affected area

• Arthritis refers to severe joint pain

Symptoms to look for:

• Pain and swelling in joints like:
o Fingers
o Legs
o Arms
o Wrists
• This pain is most severe in the morning

Causes:

• Body’s tissues are attacked by their own immune system
• Common in people over 40 years of age

Home Remedies

Natural home remedy using mustard oil and camphor:

1. Take 1 cup mustard oil
2. Add 10 g camphor
3. Heat the oil till the camphor dissolves completely
4. Massage lukewarm oil on the affected area

This will help improve the blood circulation in the area and will reduce the inflammation and stiffness

Home Remedies

Natural home remedy using potato:

1. Take a few unpeeled potato slices
2. Soak in 1 glass cold water overnight
3. Drink this water on an empty stomach, every morning

Home RemediesNatural home remedy using green gram and garlic cloves:

1. Take 3 tbsp green gram
2. Soak in 250 ml water overnight to get sprouted gram
3. Add 2 crushed garlic cloves to the sprouted gram
4. Mix well
5. Consume 2 times a day

You may add salt and pepper for taste

Osteoarthritis:

• Arthritis affects the joints causing severe pain
• This pain can make a person immobile
• It is one of the most common joint disorders which occurs with age

Symptoms to look for:

• Swelling and pain in the affected joint
• Cracking noise on any joint movement
• Constant stiffness

Causes:

• Wear and tear of the cartilage, a cushion between the bones and joints,
• Increases the friction between the bones
• Leads to stiffness and pain in the joints
• Overweight
• Injury
• Excessive exercising
• Hereditary factors

Natural home remedy using potato:

1. Wash and cut an unpeeled potato into thin slices
2. Soak them in water overnight
3. Strain the water in the morning
4. Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach

Natural home remedy using mustard oil and camphor:

1. Heat 1 cup of mustard oil
2. Add 10 g of camphor
3. Heat till camphor dissolves completely
4. Massage with the oil when lukewarm

This increases the blood supply and reduces inflammation and stiffness

Natural home remedy using sesame seeds:

1. Take 100 ml of water
2. Soak 1 tsp of black sesame seeds in it overnight
3. Consume this mixture in the morning

Natural home remedy using cinnamon powder and honey:

1. Take 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
2. Add 1 tbsp of honey
3. Mix well
4. Have this on an empty stomach every morning
