L’Oreal Revitalift 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review: Hey guys, let’s talk about the supposedly #1 skin serum in the United States of America. First, I want to take a moment here and thank drugstore brands for finally introducing more affordable ingredient-focused products. Gone are the days of making thousands of claims about how an XYZ product would make your skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom, but when you look at the ingredients, it’s full of chemicals you don’t. I’ve never heard of it.

I always look for products with one or maybe two ingredients rather than those with an indefinite mixture of many ingredients. Because with one or two heroic ingredients, I know what to expect and can specifically target my issues. When used correctly, this particular ingredient, hyaluronic acid, works great for dry skin (although it can be used on almost any skin type). So I proactively purchased this serum to give my skin an extra moisture boost.

By the way, has anyone seen the TV ad for this serum? The way Aditi Rao Hydari says ACID HA-YA-LU-RO-NIC made me feel uneasy. What did you feel? I’ve also covered the truth behind the #1 ranking and its criteria. If you have any other questions or suggestions or anything else you would like to tell me, please take a moment to comment, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum

I started using it after a long break from following a proper skincare routine. My skin wasn’t in its best shape. Blame it on covid times, and I lacked the inspiration to take care of my skin. I have combination skin, and it was quite rough and lacked shine. I began utilizing this serum in my evening regimen. Immediately after cleansing on damp skin, I take 3 drops of the serum in the palm of my hand and gently apply it all over my face. Although I’ve heard people say the serum is non-sticky and lightweight, on my skin, it felt a little tacky and tacky when applying it. If not followed by another product, it settles to a drying end within seconds. So I quickly apply a moisturizer to fix the serum. The serum alone does not feel comfortable on the skin. But with diaper products, everything is fine. I’ve never used concentrated hyaluronic acid serums like this before but based on my research; I think it’s a common trait of hyaluronic acid to have a slimy, sticky texture. It took me a little while to get used to the feel of my skin. It’s a little heavy on my skin for daytime use. Keep in mind that I live in a hot and humid place.

Either way, the serum does what it claims to do. Regenerates and hydrates the skin. My skin feels soft when I wake up. Within two days, it tackled the roughness of my skin, and I was all smooth and full of vitality. It’s supposed to be good for anti-aging, and yes, it plumps up and gives the skin a healthy look. However, unless you have dehydrated or rough skin, I don’t think you’ll notice much difference with this product. If you already have a pretty solid skincare routine and great skin, you won’t benefit much from this serum.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum:

  • L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid to hydrate skin layers for plump, youthful-looking skin deeply.
  • Known to retain up to 1,000 times its weight in water, L’Oréal Hyaluronic Acid Serum hydrates and enhances skin’s natural glow.
  • 2 types of hyaluronic acid power it. MICRO: so small that it penetrates deeper into the skin’s epidermis to plump the skin from within. MACRO: bigger to hydrate, protect and smooth the skin’s surface.
  • L’Oréal Hyaluronic Acid Serum delivers immediate results by making skin more supple and smooth.
  • Within a week of use, it makes your skin plumper and younger.

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum Side Effects:

One good thing about this serum is that it never broke out or caused me any irritation. All skin types, including sensitive skin, can use it unless they are delicate to hyaluronic acid and prone to fungal acne.

I don’t think it’s an ultralight product. I used much lighter products. Sometimes I felt like the serum wouldn’t let my skin breathe, and it sat on the skin. So I didn’t like the feel of her skin on me, although the results were good. Every day I would opt for my Klairs Toner for instant hydration and a weightless feeling.

The L’Oreal serum is also priced a bit high for the quantity offered. Many affordable hyaluronic acid serums on the market contain better ingredients and are known to work better.

Advantage:

  • Contains 1.5% pure hyaluronic acid.
  • Fragrance, dye, parabens, and alcohol-free.
  • Hydrates and plumps the skin.
  • Reduces roughness and smoothes the skin.
  • Classy packaging.

The inconvenience:

  • Expensive for a hyaluronic acid serum.
  • It’s not super light like I thought.
