It is an amber-colored product. The consistency is medium, not very thin or thick. The texture resembles a creamy gel. It smells very fresh. The face wash lathers very well with water. Most products on the market contain very little salicylic acid. But this one contains 2% salicylic acid, which is amazing for acne-prone skin. However, this also means that it will dry out on the skin. Therefore, I always use a good non-comedogenic moisturizer after washing my face.
